- On the computer, write Congratulations in Word or the free OpenOffice in font size 12 and capital letters (e.g. Arial font) and the name of the recipient (font of your choice) of the DIY birthday card in font size 16 below each other and back both letterings with a black background. Print out the lettering, cut it out and leave a white margin of about 3 mm all around.
- Using a triangle and pencil, draw a 9.5 x 14 cm rectangle on the motif card and cut it out.
- Stamp the small ornament with the heart in the middle onto kraft paper, colour in the lancet-shaped spaces with blue Stabilo and cut it out in a circle.
- Punch out a rosette from navy blue paper and stick the small ornament with the heart in its centre.
- Stamp the large ornament on white paper, cut it out as an 8 x 8 cm square and outline the edge with dark blue Stabilo. Colour the flowers around the rosette with blue Stabilo and stick the rosette with the heart ornament in its empty centre.
Stick on the Front of the card.
