American psychologist Arthur Aron even claims that if you ask the right questions in a relationship, you can fall in love with your partner all over again, even after many years. The prerequisite is that you are open to it, allow curiosity and are ready for surprises. The couple question game is very simple. Each of you choose 10 questions from the suggested questions – or ask your own questions that are burning on your tongue and to which you always wanted to know the answer. Now both of you take a piece of paper, divide it into three columns and write your questions in the middle column.
In the left column, each of you writes the answers that you think the other person will give. Now fold the left column with your answers backwards so that they are hidden from your treasure and exchange the slips of paper.
Now answer the questions honestly and write your answers in the right column.
Then switch slips again, unfold them, and take turns reading the question and the answers to each other and see how many times you agree with your answer. Talk about the answers with each other – especially the different ones – ask questions and let yourselves be surprised.
The better you read between the lines, ask questions and dig deep into each other’s dark brain and fast-beating heart, the better and more exciting the Couples Question Game will be.
Each match gives 1 point – at the end you will find out how well you really know each other ;-).
