Minigolf in a colourful, glowing fantasy world: at the blacklight minigolf at Dockx, you can experience minigolf in Berlin from its wackiest side!
Minigolf is one of our favourite pastimes, even though we’re both not that good at it :-). But that is completely unimportant. We love leisure activities that we can do together with friends simply because of the shared experience and the fun is the focus for us when playing minigolf. The great thing in Berlin is that there are many mini-golf courses to try out here and some are really a real experience!
A real discovery is the black light mini-golf in Berlin – because besides the shared fun, such courses have a lot to offer visually. From 3D installations that merge into beautiful fantasy worlds and original courses that look completely different from what you’re used to.
This is especially true of the blacklight minigolf course at the Dockx: designed by artists (Maxi Hellweger and Micha Colory among others), light, art and fun merge here.

Lane 10 at the black light minigolf
Equipped with 3D glasses, the three of us enter the minigolf course at Dockx in Tempelhofer Hafen – and immediately our eyes glaze over, for we have landed in the middle of a neon-coloured, glowing and rather psychedelic world. Small fish swim through the air and a giant octopus lolls its tentacles on the wall. The first room whisks visitors away to a magical world under water.
Enthusiastically, we start golfing and have great fun on holes 1-5. While I hit the first shot on one of them and scream with excitement, I need 8 strokes on the next hole and still haven’t managed to get the ball through this stupid loop. Grumbling, I make a note of 9, the maximum number we had agreed on for each hole. But that doesn’t diminish the fun in the least, because now we’re off to the second room: a wonderland shimmering in all colours that even Alice couldn’t dream up any crazier.
Between rainbows, faces in gnarled trees, celestial bodies and all kinds of strange monsters on the walls, we tackle the next courses. In between, we take a break and refresh ourselves at the bar one floor below. Then it’s on to the final sprint to lane 18!
The 3D blacklight minigolf at Dockx is a special experience for both children and adults. For families, Dockx also offers a huge indoor playground and combination tickets are available. For all the older ones, the offer for laser tag is also interesting – over 2 floors you play strategically in a futuristic world of light in the DockX.
